Well it’s the first Monday of the month and I just realized that this February we have leap year.
Basically we have 29 total days verses only 28 in the month. I never understood the whole “leap year” thing. How about you?

Our year isn’t actually 365 days long, but a tiny bit less than 365.25 days. It works out to 97 extra days every 400 years, so if we left it like that pretty soon all the things we’re supposed to track with calendars would be at the wrong times. We insert an extra day every four years, but not on years divisible by 100, but yes on years divisible by 400.
So 1900 was not a leap year, and 2100 will not be, but 2000 was.

Luke, you sir are a wealth of knowledge. Now I know and knowing is half the battle.
